St. Edmund is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. We follow the guidelines and curriculum established by the State of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn. In addition the principal, in conjunction with the faculty, implements all programs to provide a curriculum that goes beyond the basic standards. We continually use new advances in computer technology to access information and techniques that will further enhance our educational environment. Because of the unique relationship between St. Edmund Elementary and St. Edmund Prep, we are able to offer our students opportunities such as Advanced Math and English Programs, Concert Band, Instrumental Instruction, and Chorus.
St. Edmund also has a fully wired, internet capable building with a PC lab, a PC in every classroom and a number of Mac computers. Our brand new, dedicated Science Lab opened in 2009, along with our new Library. St. Edmund also has a Media Center, Music Room and a gymnasium.
