Under the direction of St. Edmund Prep teacher Mr. Malazzo, St. Edmund students are instructed in musical instruments and theory. They perform at the Christmas Show, the Spring Concert , and various events throughout the year.
 
The band is composed of two sections. The Cadet Band members are students who have very little or no musical background. The Concert Band members are students who have prior knowledge of music and/or have been in the Cadet Band.
