Extracurriculars

Altar Servers

Students in Grades 5-8 are invited to assist as altar servers for St. Edmund Parish.  This opportunity enables students to enhance their faith as their commitment to service to our school and parish community.

Aquinas Enrichment Group

Academically talented students in Grades 6-8 participate in interdisciplinary based projects that enable them to cultivate their critical thinking skills in an intellectually challenging environment.

Band

Students in Grades 6-8 are invited to be a part of the St. Edmund Elementary School Band where they are instructed in performance arts as well as theory.  We offer a variety of instruments from which to choose.  Band practices are conducted in the St. Edmund Prep Band Room.

Choir

Members of the St. Edmund Elementary School Choir are leaders of song at First Friday Mass as well as prayer services and seasonal liturgies for our school and parish. Choir also participates in our Christmas Pageant and Annual Talent Show.

Extended Care

Early Arrival and After-school Program:
We understand that working parents need a safe place for their children. St. Edmund provides, for a fee, an early arrival program that allows children to be under supervision starting at 7:20 AM, and an after-school program that supervises children until 5:45 PM.

Students in the program have homework time and assistance, snacks and playtime. Full and part time attendance plans are available, please call for details and rates.

Robotics

Students in Grades 5-8 comprise our Robotics Team. Members work collaboratively on projects that promote STEM learning experiences. Our current Robotics Team is inspired by the success of award winning teams that have preceded them.

Speech and Debate

St. Edmund Elementary School now has an afterschool Speech and Debate Club

Student Council

St. Edmund Elementary Student Council provides our students with practical participation in government. Executive Members and Class Representatives are elected and serve as leaders in organizing and coordinating activities that enhance school spirit.

Yearbook

Each year eighth graders use their literary and technology skills to create a lasting memory of their years at St. Edmund Elementary School.
